Who performs this treatment
How does collagen stimulation therapy work?
The technology is simple: continue with the Medical Roll-CIT® (roller with thin needles, 1 mm long) by rolling over the skin, microscopic holes are punctured in the blood vessels just under the epidermis. This causes slight bleeding and the platelets immediately take action.
They produce growth factors that temporarily promote the natural production of collagen and elastin. By producing type 1 collagen, the skin will recover, renew without leaving scar tissue. The collagen is stronger than before and the skin also becomes visibly firmer as a result.

What to expect
1. The procedure is always preceded by an intake interview with the skin therapist. The indication and contraindications will be discussed. To do this, fill out a special form together with your specialist.
2. Pictures of your skin will be taken and the entire procedure will be thoroughly explained.

How is the treatment going?
On the day of the treatment, we advise you not to drink coffee and come to the clinic without makeup. The treatment will take approximately 2.5 hours and proceed according to the following steps.
• Intensive facial cleansing;
• Applying the local anaesthetic;
• Medical needling in all predetermined areas;
• Sterilizing peeling;
• Deep ingestion of vitamins and peptides;
• Cooling mask;
• Care with vitamin-based oil; |

Is aftercare necessary?
A microneedling treatment can cause the skin to flake, which disappears within a few days. This is a positive effect because new skin cells are rapidly produced in the skin. After the treatment, it may happen that the skin turns slightly redder and/or red spots appear in the skin. This is a normal phenomenon and usually disappears within a few days after treatment. In rare cases, hyper- or hypopigmentation, crusting or blisters may occur. This is usually a temporary effect and will disappear over time.
Do not scratch the treated skin. Do not wax or epilate the treated area during the treatment treatment.Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming and bathing during the first 24 hours after treatment.Also check out our client instructions for microneedling.

Is it suitable for everyone?
No, medical microneedling or collagen stimulation is not suitable for:
• Pregnancy
• Rosacea
• Radio or chemotherapy
• Active skin infections such as acne or cold sores
• Skin cancer, warts, actinic keratosis
• Severe form of keloid
