The Milk Peel from Demaceutic consists of 50% glycolic acid, 10% lactic acid and 4% salicy acid. Together they form a powerful formula to make your skin glow again. This peel is suitable for all skin types and can also be combined with other cosmetic treatments (as microneedling, or IPL laser) for an even more effective effect. Milk Peel treatment increases collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Also, the peel helps reduce PIH (post-inflammatory browning) and types of pigmentation in the skin. Once the peel is applied you may experience a prickling sensation. After the treatment, the skin is visibly smoother and more even in the tone color.

Dermaceutic’s Cosmopeel TCA is a medium to deep chemical peeling that provides accelerated skin renewal. The peel consists of a combination of different acids. At Van Lennep Kliniek we have different percentages of the Cosmopeel, so the peel can be built up in the intensity. TCA stands for tri-chloroacetic acid.  This substance damages the superficial skin cells. As a result, they flake off and the deeper layer of the skin is stimulated to produce extra collagen and elastin resulting in skin improvement on several levels. After the treatment, redness and flaking may occur. The process of skin renewal and peeling can last for several days to a week.

Dermaceutic’s Melapeel is a peel consisting of 5% resorciol, 10% lactic acid, 5% citric acid, 4% kojic acid and 4% arbutin. Dermaceutic’s Melapeel is used to treat hyperpigmentation spots and is particularly suitable for melasma. This is hormonally induced pigmentation, usually seen on the cheekbones, upper lip, chin and/or forehead. Pigmentation spots can occur superficially, as well as deeper in the skin and can be lighter or darker. The exact origin of melasma is unclear, but there are links between sun exposure, pregnancy, taking birth control, certain medications and genetics. We recommend undergoing the Melapeel in a course of treatment, every 4 weeks. On average, 4-6 treatments are required, depending on your skin type and the severity of the pigment.

The Cosmopeel Forte by Dermaceutic is one of the strongest peelings in our range. The peeling works very deeply and therefore gives an amazing result, already after 1 treatment. The Cosmopeel Forte consists of different types of ingredients, each with specific properties to penetrate a specific skin layer. The peeling causes the superficial skin layer to soften. This activates the skin renewal process, causing dead skin cells to be released and replaced with new healthy skin cells. The Cosmopeel Forte is composed of 20% TCA, 10% phenol and 10% glycolic acid. The effect of exfoliation is very deep and therefore works well in the field of anti-aging (production of collagen and elastin). Peel can be used as a stand-alone treatment, but the best results are usually obtained in combination with light and laser treatments. This peel gives a downtime of 7 – 10 days due to peeling. In addition, it is important to first prepare the skin with the appropriate Dermaceutic skincare.

With a low concentration of lactic acid a ph-lowering of the skin is achieved which stimulates and releases growth factors to the skin. Bacteria are destroyed, dead skin cells are removed and the hydration of the skin is stimulated. The LACM Cool Peel is ideal for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, thick and rough skin with open pores, or problem skin such as acne and rosacea. This mild peeling is also very suitable to rid the sun aged skin of e.g. actinic keratosis, a mild stage of skin cancer. The skin can recover and is better protected against the occurrence of sun damage and eventually skin cancer. This peeling increases the absorption of vitamins considerably. The skin becomes purer, the skin structure smoother and blemishes fade. The strength of the peeling is adapted to the individual skin condition. It is our goal to make the skin healthier in a gentle but effective way, with little discomfort and without prolonged recovery period.
