Kristel Ehmer, who works at Van Lennep Clinic as a Clinic Assistant, talks about her favorite product. In this case, 'products', because this combination of ZO Skin Health skin care products is a daily 3-step cleansing ritual for Kristel.

Getting Skin Ready — Cleanse, Scrub, Oil Control — ZO Skin Health

She herself says about it: “Now that I've 'just' passed 30, I 'unfortunately' still have a pimple every now and then, but also with the first fine lines and signs of aging. That's why I want to take care of my skin as well as possible. The basis of healthy, fresh and radiant skin starts with cleansing. The Getting Skin Ready is a 3-step cleansing ritual that only takes me 3 minutes in the morning and evening.”

1. Cleanse, exfoliating cleanser

I wet my face and hands slightly and massage some pea-sized gel over my face for about a minute. The exfoliating spheres in the gel provide the first exfoliation and the gel removes most makeup and dirt. I wash it off with water.

2. Scrub, exfoliating polish

Then I massage my face very lightly with this scrub to remove dead skin cells and activate new skin cells. The unique magnesium crystals in this scrub are very fine and round in texture, so that the skin does not become “damaged” or “overscrubbed”. I add the scrub once a day to my Getting Skin Ready routine.

3. Oil Control, cleansing pads

As a final step, I rub the pad, with salicylic acid as the active ingredient, over my face until it feels dry. The sebum is removed here.

After these 3 steps, my skin not only feels extremely clean, smooth and tight, but most importantly, it ensures that the other active and stimulating products that I use from ZO are better absorbed.

In addition to these products, I use ZO's daily power defense (day cream), C-bright, Brightalive, Retinol Skin Brightener and Retamax, with active Vitamin A.

Available at the clinic

In principle, the products within the Getting Skin Ready protocol are always in stock at the clinics, because it is the basis of every protocol to start with and get acquainted with ZO.
