This period is quite hectic, especially in the run-up to the opening of my third Van Lennep Clinic in the Netherlands. While the chandeliers are still on the floor and the paint on the walls is drying, the staff is already walking into our newest location opposite the Nirwana flat in The Hague. The Van Lennep Clinic for Injectables and Skin Improvement has grown over the past 10 years with clinics in Oegstgeest and The Hague. I am very proud to have gathered so many beautiful people around me who, together with me, can achieve dreams for others but also for ourselves.
“Combine talents and enjoy life!”
As a cosmetic doctor and entrepreneur, I am so passionate about my profession that I'm already making new plans in my head. Entrepreneurship has always been in me. With a father as a doctor and a mother as a fashion entrepreneur, it was almost impossible for me to combine these talents. I'm always making plans and mapping out where I want to go. But don't forget to enjoy life on this route. I will be fifty next year, which makes me more aware than ever of living in the here and now. Because I have a hectic life, it is also important to find my rest.
“Looking for the right balance and creating peace!”
Disconnecting from a busy day lies mainly in the small things and starts while cooking, for example. I always want to put something new on the table and keep surprising my teenage sons Olivier and Tim and my friend Rob. Recently I made pumpkin soup and I thought it would be fun to serve the soup in the pumpkin. I come up with something like this on the spot and, of course, it takes some extra work, but I love those faces that I see at the table. Of course, I also have to go abroad for an important training for a few days, but this can all be combined easily with co-parenting. If I want to keep up this pace, I must always look for the right balance and find peace in my head and body and then go full steam ahead.
See you at the Van Lennep Clinic!
