One chemical peeling, or fractional laser treatment are both skin-repairing 'resurfacing' treatments, to remove old (damaged) skin and stimulate the production of new skin. Both treatments are commonly used to minimize acne scars and pigment, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and correct sun damage such as age spots.

The main difference is the procedure itself. As the name suggests, one method uses a chemical solution to remove aging skin and the other method uses laser beams.

The end result? Smooth, revitalized skin. Combating problem areas has never been easier, but can be overwhelming if you're new to the world of peeling.
